Tenant Isolation
Each marina is a separate tenant. Records, documents, maps and audit history belong to one marina and are read only within it.
Role-Based Access
Assign granular permissions (owner, manager, dock staff, read-only). You control exactly who can view or edit your harbor's operational record.
Audit Trail
Every change to a slip, boat, agreement or reading is recorded with who made it and how: in the app, through an import, or via chat. Entries made via chat are marked as such and keep a short transcript snippet.
Backups and Tested Restore
Automated encrypted backups. We test restores from them.
Second Sign-In Step
Owner accounts need a second sign-in step with an authenticator app.
Token Revocation
Access tokens, including the one a chat app uses for Dock Walk, can be revoked at any time.
Private Document Storage
Uploaded agreements, insurance and registration documents are encrypted at rest and access-controlled.
Full Data Export
Export your data anytime, in standard formats. If you cancel your subscription, you get a full export—no questions asked.
Payments Data Boundary
SlipSlate is an operational record first. Payments are optional and off by default. If you turn them on, they run on your own Stripe account, and card and bank details are entered with Stripe, not with SlipSlate. We never store card or bank numbers.
